Judgment
The corpus who is said to be a minor girl has appeared on her own volition and has been produced before the Court by the police authorities comprising of Constable Ms. Chahat Shukla, Sub Inspector Ms. Saroj Gahlot and Sub-Inspector Munna Lal Dhurve of Police Station Banda, District Sagar.
After interaction with the corpus who is a minor girl, it appears that she does not wish to go to her parental home due to the 2 pressure exerted by her father to marry a person whom she does not wish to marry.
Shri Ritwik Parashar, Government Advocate who is appearing for the State has also informed that parents are also unwilling to take the custody of the corpus.
Accordingly, State counsel is directed to ensure that corpus is kept in safe custody at One Stop Centre at District Sagar.
The Supervisor of the One Stop Centre, Sagar is directed to ensure that corpus who had left studies after completing Class-IX, pursues her academic career by ensuring her admission in any Government High School/Government Higher Secondary School.
The Supervisor of One Stop Centre, Sagar is directed to submit the report in that regard within 15 days.
For the time being, this petition stands disposed of and shall be taken up as P.U.D. in the 2nd week of July, 2024 for consideration of the report.
