SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT

This SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT entered into on 24.07.2026 between

Sakthi Arun, S/o. Nallasivan ...Petitioner

and

P. Vairamani w/o. Nidyanandam ...3rd Respondent

WHEREAS

1.

Disputes and differences had arisen between the parties hereto and WP. CRL. (MD) No. 3379 of 2026 filed on 18/06/2026 by the petitioner before the Hon'ble Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai.

2.

The matter was referred to mediation / conciliation vide an order dated 24.06.2026 passed by THE HON'BLE MRS.JUSTICE L. VICTORIA GOWRI.

The parties agreed that Ms. J. ANANDHAVALLI and Mr. M. GNANAGURUNATHAN would act as their Mediators/ Conciliators.

4.

Several meetings were held during the process of Mediation/Conciliation from 08.07.2026 to 24.07.2026 and the parties have with the assistance of the Mediator / Conciliator voluntarily arrived at an amicable solution resolving the above mentioned disputes and differences.

The parties hereto confirm and declare that they have voluntarily and of their own free will arrived at this Settlement Agreement in the presence of the Mediator/ Conciliator.

The following settlement has been arrived at between the parties hereto:

I) The petitioner agreed to repay a sum of Rs. 3,00,000/- (Three Lakh Only) to 3rd Respondent for the debt borrowed by her mother namely Mrs. Jega Jothi as full and final settlement.

II) The petitioner transferred sum of Rs. 3,00,000/- (Three Lakh Only) through NEFT to 3rd Respondent bank account and its UTR No. TMBLR520260724007 dated 24.07.2026. The 3rd respondent also acknowledged the receipt of money.

III) The 3rd Respondent has agreed that he will not claim any further amount regarding the debt to petitioner's mother Jega Jothi.

IV) The Petitioner agrees to withdraw the compliant given against 3rd respondent which is pending before the Inspector of Police, Kovilpatti West Police Station and agrees to close the Writ Petition on the basis of this settlement agreement.

By signing this Agreement the parties hereto state that they have no further claims or demands against each other with respect to WP. CRL. (MD) No. 3379 of 2026 and all disputes and differences in this regard have been amicably settled by the parties hereto through the process of Conciliation / Mediation.
