Considering the limited prayer made by the petitioner for expeditious adjudication of his pending tribe claim the writ petition is taken up for final hearing.

Heard. Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith. Ms. S.S. Jachak, learned Assistant Government Pleader waives notice for respondent No.1. Mr. N.A. Gaikwad, learned counsel waives notice for respondent No.3. Service on respondent No.2 is dispensed with considering the nature of directions proposed to be issued.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader on instructions submits that within a period of six months the petitioner’s claim would be decided. In view of aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent No.1 Scrutiny Committee to decide the petitioner’s claim of belonging to Halbi Scheduled Tribe within a period of six months subject to petitioner’s cooperating with Scrutiny Committee. With these directions the writ petition is disposed of. Rule accordingly. No costs.
