Mr.V.S.Naik, the learned counsel for the petitioner, is heard on the grant of ad interim order.
The learned counsel submits that the petitioner, who will attain the age of superannuation on 22.03.2025, is constrained to approach this Court because, notwithstanding the judgment of a Division Bench of this Court in the month of September, 2024 (Writ Petition No.18693/2014 (L-RES)), the petitioner will be constrained to retire at the age of 58 and not at the age of 60 years; in some cases, the respondents have issued notice of retirement and in such cases this Court has granted interim order. In this regard, the learned counsel relies upon the interim order granted in W.P.No.4472/2025.
On perusal of the records and the order dated 17.02.2025 in W.P.No.4472/2025, interim order is granted directing the respondents to continue the petitioner in service beyond 22.03.2025 subject to further orders.
Sri N.S.Narasimhaswamy, a learned standing counsel for the respondents, is called upon to accept notice for the respondents. Mr.V.S.Naik, the learned counsel for the petitioner, shall ensure that the copies of the petition are served on his Chambers.
The office is directed to tag this petition along with W.P.Nos.26186/2024, 26044/2024, 26199/2024, 32826/2024, 33972/2024, 30427/2024, 1209/2025, 3734/2025 and 4472/2025 and these petitions shall be listed on 26.03.2025.
