This is a petition under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code for quashing the FIR in vide No.East Agartala, PS Case No.2023 EAG 101 dated 29-06-2023 under Section 403/420/468/471 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is the case of the petitioner that an FIR dated 29.06.2023 has been lodged against the petitioner. He has been asked to appear before the IO. On this, he has served a legal notice asking for supply of documents/evidences relying on which the FIR is lodged. No response, no supply of documents is made to the petitioner. The petitioner is dissatisfied thereby. He prefers this petition under Section 482 stating that the allegations and the FIR are the result of abuse of power to harass him. He contends that in all the years right from his service period and after retirement, lots of allegations and departmental proceedings were held in connection with the Sports Association. The present FIR is also relates to Sports Association, therefore, it is a process of continuous harassments to the petitioner. Aggrieved by the said action of the respondents, the petitioner has approached this court for seeking relief.

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Having perused the record, it appears to this court that the petitioner has made allegations against the respondent that despite his voluntary retirement, he is made to face surprises wherein the respondent is filing one case after another against the petitioner. The petitioner further prayed to provide him a list of criminal cases pending against him.

This court feels that the request made by the petitioner appears to be reasonable and accordingly directs the learned Public Prosecutor to provide a list of criminal cases which are pending till date to the counsel for the petitioner as expeditiously as possible.

With the above observation, the instant criminal petition stands dismissed. As a sequel, stay, if any, stands vacated. Pending application(s), if any, also stands closed.
