The petitioner submitted Ext.P1 application for No Objection Certificate to conduct a granite building stone quarry in the revenue land of 0.5535 Hectares comprised in Resurvey No.66/14 in Block No.18 of Chakkuvarakkal Village in Kottarakkara Taluk. The petitioner states that pursuant to Ext.P1, the respondent had already called for the report from the statutory authorities. The grievance of the petitioner is that Ext.P1 application has not so far been taken to a logical conclusion by the respondent.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P1, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.
The writ petition is disposed of.
