Rohit @ Sonu vs State of Uttarakhand

This is short term bail application no. 1365 of 2011, moved on behalf of the applicant Rohit @ Sonu, who is in jail in connection with Crime No. 202 of 2011, relating to offences punishable u/s 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120B of I.P.C., Police Station Kotwali Dehradun, District Dehradun, has sought his release on bail.

Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that on 20th of November, 2011, the applicant''s real brother Sandeep is getting married, and on 21st of November, 2011 the applicant''s real sister Kavita is getting married. The applicant is not named in the First Information Report. It is stated that he has no criminal history.

In the above facts and circumstances, the short term bail application is allowed for three days i.e. 19.11.2011, 20.11.2011 and 21.11.2011 to the applicant. Rohit @ Sonu let be released on short term bail on executing personal bond and furnishing two sureties, each of the like amount, to the satisfaction of the Magistrate concerned. The applicant Rohit @ Sonu shall surrender before the court concerned on 22.11.2011 and shall be sent back to jail.

Rejoinder affidavit may be filed on behalf of the applicant within a period of one week.

List thereafter for orders on regular bail application.
