Judgment
Shri Rituraj Singh Rathore, the petitioner has moved an application for impleading Principal Secretary, Department of Tourism and District Collector,
Rajsamand and Pali as party respondents. He has also filed copy of the order dated 31.3.2015 issued by the Department of Forest, Government of
Rajasthan, as per which, all commercial and industrial activities have been prohibited in a periphery of one kilometer from the protected boundaries of
forest which includes Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary. Shri Rituraj Singh submits that rampant construction activities are being undertaken in the
vicinity of Kumbhalgarh forest boundary by breaching the aforesaid order of the Government of Rajasthan.
The interlocutory application is accepted.
Let notice be issued to the newly added respondents No. 6 to 8. Rule is made returnable on 7.3.2022.
In the meantime, it is hereby directed that all construction activities being undertaken within a distance of 1000 meters from the boundary of the
Kumbhalgarh Forest Reserve shall remain stayed.
The Principal Secretary, Department of Tourism and District Collector, Rajsamand and Pali shall be personally responsible for ensuring compliance of
this order which shall be communicated to them forthwith through e-mail.
