M.M. Kumar, J.—The prayer made in the instant petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to the respondent-Union Bank of India to issue no objection certificate with regard to his mortgaged land which was under lien on account of crop loan taken by him. According to the averments made in the petition, the crop loan by selling the other property of the petitioner under the Scrutinization Act, 2002 stands satisfied and the lien on the aforesaid property is required to be vacated.

In reply to the notice of motion, Mr. Yogesh Goel, learned counsel for the respondent-Bank has placed on record a copy of the communication dated 15.12.2011 whereby the clearance certificate with regard to the loan amount in the account of the petitioner is required to be issued. The aforesaid letter is addressed to Tehsildar Gharaunda, District Karnal. A copy of the letter has been handed over to learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the above, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present proceedings and the Bank shall issue no objection/due certificate to the petitioner within two weeks.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
