The learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that the parties have settled their dispute out of Court.

The appellant, the National Insurance Company Ltd., has challenged the legality of the award dated 03-04-2013, passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Court of Small Causes at Bangalore (SCCH-

15), whereby the learned Tribunal has granted a compensation of Rs.12,02,000/- to the claimants- respondents, for the death of Mr. Ramakrishna, the husband of claimant-respondent No.1, and the father of the claimant-respondent No.2.

The learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that the parties have agreed to reduce the compensation amount by Rs.2,00,000/-. Therefore, the award dated 03-04-2013 is hereby modified to the limited extent that the claimants-respondents shall be entitled to a compensation of Rs.10,02,000/-, along with an interest at the rate of 6% p.a., from the date of filing of the claim petition, till the date of realization.

The amount deposited by the Insurance Company shall be disbursed to the claimants-respondents, forthwith, with the aforementioned direction.

The appeal stands disposed of accordingly.
