Petitionerappellant, aggrieved by the order dated 11th February, 2009 passed by a learned Single Judge in Writ Petition No. 7356 of 2009 dismissing the writ petition, has preferred this Appeal under Rule 5 of Chapter VIII of the High Court Rules.
Petitionerappellant was appointed as Aangan Bari Karyakatri at Govind Nagar Centre in ward No. 6 of Chitrakoot Municipality. Later on it was found that she was not a resident of Govind Nagar or ward No. 6 within which the territorial limit, the Centre Govind Nagar is situated and after giving showcause notice to her, her appointment has been rescinded.
Mr. Harish Chandra Singh appearing on behalf of the appellant submits that in fact the appellant is resident of a place which was within the ward No. 6. The authority, on consideration of the materials on record, came to the conclusion that appellant is not the resident of the said ward and it is not the appellant''s case that she is a resident of Govind Nagar where the Centre is located.
In that view of the matter, we are of the opinion that the order rescinding the appellant''s appointment as Aangan Bari Karyakatri does not suffer from any error.
The appeal stands dismissed.
