Judgment
Petitioners claim that they have attained majority and married against the wishes of their family members. Apprehending threat to their life and liberty, they have filed the present petition for protection.

The petitioners have placed on record copies of their Aadhar Cards (Annexures P-1 and P-2) and a copy of certificate as Annexure P-3 as well as four photographs on two sheets as Annexure P4 regarding performance of marriage.
This petition is disposed of with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Rupnagar, to look into the matter by treating the writ petition as a representation and ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioners. However, it is made clear that this order shall not be treated as stamp of the Court about the marriage of the parties and no opinion regarding the validity of the marriage has been expressed.
