Judgment

We record the statement filed on behalf of 3rd respondent, District Medical Officer. It is submitted that sufficient infrastructure has been put in
place to meet any demand on account of the pandemic in Kasaragod District. The details have been furnished along with the statement.
The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though such facilities have been mentioned in the statement, in reality, it is not available in
the Government hospitals.
We do not find any reason to disbelieve the said statement. However, to ensure that these facilities are all put to use, we are of the view that
the District Legal Services Authority, Kasaragod shall make necessary enquiry and find out whether these are all put in use. The statement filed shall
be forwarded to the District Legal Services Authority through Kerala Legal Services Authority. The District Legal Services Authority shall place a
report before this Court by next posting. This order shall be forwarded along with the statement filed to the District Legal Services Authority through
KeLSA.
