The present writ petition has been filed for seeking issuance a writ of a direction in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondent for granting furlough to the petitioner for one month as the petitioner wishes to get conducted his treatment on medical grounds.
Learned counsel has submitted that vide Annexure P-4, the application was given to respondent No.2-District Magistrate, Rohtak but District Magistrate had not decided the aforesaid application for grant of furlough.
On the other hand, learned State counsel has submitted that the concerned competent Authority will consider the representation filed by the petitioner (Annexure P-4) strictly in accordance with law and shall decide the same within a period of 4 weeks.
In view of the statement made by the learned State counsel, nothing survives in the present writ petition and the same is disposed of.
It is made clear that the order which is to be passed by the concerned competent authority shall be a well reasoned order.
