Judgment
Admit.
As only a short point is involved and the opposite parties 1 and 2 are represented by Sri J. Bhalla and we have heard him, we proceed to dispose of the petition finally.
According to the petitioner, his father was a Headmaster of a Basic School and died in harness on 12.5.82. Under a circular of the Secretary, Basic Shiksha Parishad, dated 26.6.80 he is entitled to being appointed on some post for which he is qualified. He duly applied for the same showing his educational qualification as Intermediate in 1982. He has since acquired a degree. He is clearly qualified for the post of a clerk or some equivalent post. It is difficult to believe that no post has fallen vacant during the last two years since when he has been approaching the authorities.
The petition is allowed and a writ in the nature of mandamus is issued commanding the opposite parties 1 and 2 to appoint the petitioner to some post in accordance with his educational qualification either in the Parishad or in any institution controlled by the Parishad at an early date say, within two months from today.
