In sequel to order passed on previous date, i.e. 01.09.2020, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that this contempt petition be tagged with CWP No.2021 of 2019, titled H.P. University versus Ramesh Chand and others.
Aforesaid CWP No.2021 of 2019, has been filed by H.P. University against the order dated 03.01.2018, passed by erstwhile H.P. State Administrative Tribunal in O.A. No.717 of 2015, for violation whereof present contempt petition has been filed.
Vide order dated 03.09.2019 passed in CWP No.2021 of 2019, the Division Bench of this High Court, has stayed the order dated 03.01.2018, passed by erstwhile H.P. State Administrative Tribunal in aforesaid O.A. No.717 of 2015.
In the aforesaid circumstances, no fruitful purpose is going to be served by keeping this petition pending. Therefore, this contempt petition is closed and disposed of.
Needless to say that petitioners shall have liberty to revive this petition or to file fresh petition, if necessity arises to do so, after final adjudication of CWP No.2021 of 2019, as permissible under law.
