Judgment
Rajan Gupta J.—Petitioners have sought a direction from this court to provide employment to them as per policy (Annexure P-1) and also give benefit of judgment rendered by this court in CWP N0. 787 of 2008 titled as Dharam Singh & ors. vs. State of Punjab & ors., decided on 26.11.2009 (Annexure P-6). Learned counsel submits that in view of the policy and judgment aforesaid, the petitioners are entitled to be considered for appointment.

On the asking of the court, Ms. Monica Chhibber Sharma, DAG, Punjab accepts notice.
Learned State counsel submits that in view of order passed by this court, claim of the petitioners can be considered by respondents N0. 2 to 4. However, liberty may be granted to the State to see if claim of the petitioners is distinguishable from those in CWP N0. 787 of 2008 and pass an order accordingly.
In view of above, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents N0. 2 to 4 to consider claim of the petitioners in view of Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme dated 18.11.1993 and judgment delivered by this court. The respondents shall, however, be at liberty to pass appropriate orders in case it is found that claim of the petitioners is distinguishable from the petitioners in CWP N0. 787 of 2008.
