ORAL ORDER

Learned counsel for the petitioner files a memo seeking conversion of the subject petition to one of Section 483 of the BNSS, which was Section 439 of the Cr.P.C., the earlier regime.

2.

The memo reads as follows:

“MEMO,

The counsel for the petitioner submits as follows, that the petitioner has filed the above Petition under 482 of CR.P.C., seeking bail under Section 436A of CR.P.C. The Petitioner may be permitted to convert the above petition into a bail petition under Section 439 of CR.P.C. The same may be considered in the interest of justice and equity.”
