Status report filed, which is perused and ordered to be taken on record.
By way of this bail petition, filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the petitioner has prayed for grant of bail in FIR No.09 of
2019, dated 07.02.2019, registered at Police Station, Shillai, District Sirmaur, H.P., under Section 20 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances
Act, 1985.
Learned Deputy Advocate General has pointed out that earlier a similar petition filed by the petitioner, i.e. Cr.MP(M) No.2340 of 2019, titled as
Ram Singh Versus State of Himachal Pradesh, was dismissed by Hon’ble Co-ordinate Bench of this Court, vide judgment dated 20.02.2020, by
way of a reasoned order and there is no change in the circumstance warranting any interference in the present petition to the contrary. Learned
counsel also could not point out any change in the circumstance warranting a different view from that taken by Hon’ble Co-ordinate Bench, vide
judgment dated 20.02.2020. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
