Judgment
Kurian Joseph, C.J.—The writ petitions are filed with the following prayers:
(i) That the Respondents may be directed to consider the case of the Petitioners for regularization of their services against the post of Laboratory Technician (LT) or any other equivalent Class III post as per Policy dated 7.5.2010 (Annexure P-2) framed by the Respondent State Govt. for regularization of contract appointees after completing 8 years continuous service as on 31.3.2010 and allow all other consequential benefits.
(ii) That the Respondents may also be directed to consider the case of the Petitioners for regularization of their services on the analogy of Tamil Nadu Govt. (Annexure P-7).
It is submitted that the matter is still under consideration by the Government. It is further submitted that other similarly situated persons have already been regularized. There will be a direction to the first and second Respondents to take a final decision in the matter in accordance with law without discriminating the Petitioners and the same shall be done within a period of three months from the date of production of a copy of this judgment along with a copy of the writ petition by the Petitioner concerned before the 2nd Respondent.
The writ petitions are disposed of, so also the pending applications, if any.
