This review petition has been filed by the petitioner Ram Parkash seeking review of order dated 29.05.2009 passed in OWP No. 289/2006.
This review petition is pending adjudication since the year 2009 and the petitioner has not been pursuing the same since 2014.
Looking to the nature of order, which is sought to be reviewed, I am of the considered view that this petition, by all means, has been rendered infrutuous by efflux of time.
The grievance of the petitioner in the writ petition was that. The State Carriage Route Permit for the vehicle i.e. Tata-407 was not issued in favour of the petitioner by respondent No.3 in. the writ petition as per the option given by him in the communication dated 19.03.2003.
The writ petition came up for consideration in the year 2006 when there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and the Court found that, having regard to the nature of relief prayed for, the writ petition had become infructuous. This was done by the Writ Court vide its order dated 29.05.2009. Eleven years more have passed since the disposal of the writ petition.
6 In these circumstances, particularly when the petitioner has lost interest in prosecuting this review petition, I am not inclined to adjourn the matter further. This review petition is, accordingly dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
