Judgment

By way of these two petitions filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the petitioners have sought the quashing of FIRs., which have been filed against them by the respective respondents in the petitions. The details of the FIRs. are as under:-
“1. FIR No. 173/20, dated 10.06.2020 registered under Sections 451, 504, 506, 188 & 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 51 of NDMA Act at Police Station Bhunter, H.P.
FIR No. 174/2020, dated 12.06.2020, registered under Sections 341, 504, 506 and 509 of the Indian Penal Code at Police Station Bhunter, H.P.”
When the matter was taken up for consideration today, Shri Ravindra Nath Dubey, Smt. Shalini Singh, Pratap Singh, Ms. Kamlesh Gupta and Shri Rakesh Singh (who is also representing the interest of Suyash, who is his son), who were present in the Court have stated that the issue which led to the registration of the FIRs. now stands amicably sorted out between them and the parties have now decided to live in peace and harmony with each other and accordingly, a request has been made that in view of the said development, the present petitions be disposed of by quashing the FIRs. subject matter of both the petitions. The statements of the complainants to this effect have also been recorded separately.
Accordingly, these petitions are disposed of by ordering the quashing of FIR No. 173/20, dated 10.06.2020 registered under Sections 451, 504, 506, 188 & 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 51 of NDMA Act at Police Station Bhunter, H.P. and FIR No. 174/2020, dated 12.06.2020, registered under Sections 341, 504, 506 and 509 of the Indian Penal Code at Police Station Bhunter, H.P. as well as any ensuing criminal proceedings thereof, in view of the matter having been amicably settled between the parties. Miscellaneous applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
