Petitioner is aggrieved by an order dated 27.07.2021 passed by Block Education Officer, Jaspur, District Udham Singh Nagar, whereby he has been
asked to handover charge of post of Headmaster to Mr. Pushpendra Kumar, Senior Assistant Teacher in Government Primary School, Shyam Nagar.
On 25.08.2021, learned State Counsel sought time for getting instructions in the matter. Today, on instructions, learned Additional C.S.C. has
apprised the Court that respondent no. 4 is senior-most Teacher in the said institution, yet petitioner was holding the post of Head Master since 2016,
ignoring seniority of respondent no. 4. She submits that when the matter was brought to the notice of the authorities, then the order impugned in this
writ petition was passed, directing the petitioner to handover charge of post of Headmaster to the senior-most Teacher.
Since the impugned order is in consonance with settled norms, therefore, this Court does not find any reason to interfere with the matter.
Accordingly, the writ petition fails and is dismissed.
There will be no order as to costs.
