T.H.B. Chalapathi, J.

1.

The petitioner is seeking a direction that the sentence awarded to him in Crl. Appeal No. 51 dated 27.11.97 as reduced in Crl. Revision No. 806 of 1999 by this Court and the sentence imposed on him in Crl. Appeals Nos. 12, 13 and 14 arising out of FIR No. 95 dated 8.8.91 shall run concurrently. Neither the trial Court nor the appellate Court nor this Court in revision has given any direction that the sentences imposed on the appellant in FIR No. 95 dated 8.8.91 and FIR No. 96 shall run concurrently.

2.

Hence I am of the opinion that it is in the interest of justice to direct the sentence imposed on the petitioner in FIRs Nos. 95 and 96 to run concurrently.

3.

Accordingly I allow this petition and direct the sentences imposed on the petitioner in the FIRs Nos. 95 and 96 of PS Sector 36 and F.I.R. 95 of P.S. Manimajra which are subject matter of Crl. Appeals Nos. 12, 13, 14 and 51 on the file of Sessions Judge, Chandigarh decided on 3.2.99 to run concurrently. Copy of the order be given dasti.
