Judgment
J.V. Gupta, J.—This order will dispose of Civil Miscellaneous Applications Nos. 1185-CI and 1186-CII of 1982, in Civil Revision Petitions Nos. 762 and 763 of 1982 respectively, under Sections 5 and 14 of the Limitation Act, for condonation of delay in filing the revision petitions u/s 45(5) of the East Punjab Urban Rent Restriction Act, 1949 (hereinafter called ''the Act'').
It is not disputed on behalf of the respondents that the Limitation Act as such is not applicable to the revision petition filed under the Act Even in the above-mentioned applications, it has been stated inter alia that there is no limitation provided under the Act for filing the revision petition, as held in Subhash Chander v. Rehmat Ullah 1973 R.C.J. 688 and that the application were being filed by way of abundant caution.
Since no limitation is provided under the Act, the question of condonation of any deley does not arise.
Both the Civil Revision Petitions are admitted and the notices have been accepted by Shri Ashok Jindal, Advocate, in both of them, on behalf of the respondents. The main cases to be fixed for final hearing on the 18th May, 1982.
