Jagmohan Bansal, J
On 18.02.2026, the following order was passed:
“Learned counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner completed the work with revised estimate of Rs.31,22,199/-to the satisfaction of the respondents and part payment has been released. He asserts that an amount of Rs.8,04,079/-is still due from the respondents.
Advance copy of the petition has been served upon the official respondents.
Issue notice of motion.
On the asking of the Court, Mr. Ravish Kaushik, Addl. A.G., Haryana accepts notice on behalf of respondents and prays for time to seek instructions in the matter.
On the deferred date, the learned State counsel, shall seek instructions and make a statement regarding the timeline within which the amount found due to the petitioner, shall be released.
List on 20.03.2026.”
Learned State counsel submits that admitted liability stands discharged. The petitioner should avail alternative remedies with respect to disputed amount within one month. The Competent Authority would further communicate to petitioner reasons of disputing payment of Rs.8,04,079/-.
Learned counsel representing the petitioner agrees with the aforesaid arrangement.
In the wake of statements of both sides, the petition stands disposed of.
Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
