Judgment

BLAPL No. 4330 OF 2021 & I.A. No. 478 of 2022

The petitioner is an accused in in T.R. Case No. 62 of 2021, arising out of Kumbharapada P.S. Case No. 71 of 2021, pending on the file of learned Special Judge, Puri for commission of the alleged offence punishable under Section-20(b)(c)/29 of the N.D.P.S Act,
Heard Mr. Devashis Panda, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D. Mund, learned Additional Government Advocate for the State.
Considering the recitals in the I.A. and the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner that, the petitioner’s mother is not able to attend to her daily chores on her own, on humanitarian grounds, the interim bail granted to the petitioner is extended for a further period of four weeks, subject to the same conditions imposed in the earlier order dtd. 11.02.2022.
It is needless to state here that, the petitioner surrenders before the learned Court in seisin of the matter on or before 05.05.2022.
Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to bring this order to the kind notice of the learned Court in seisin of the matter, since the matter is posted for consideration today in terms of the order passed by this court earlier.
The I.A is accordingly disposed of.
List this BLAPL in the week commencing from 25th of April, 2022.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted in course of the day.
