The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking directions to the respondents to regularize their services.

On 11.12.2023, the following order was passed in CWP No.27626 of 2023:-

“1. The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent to regularize services of the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that case of the petitioners is squarely covered by a judgment passed by this Court in a bunch of petitions including CWP-9237-2023 decided on 15.11.2023 titled as Gopal Singh and others Vs. The Bhakra Beas Management Board and others.

Mr. Rajesh Garg, Senior Advocate does not dispute the fact that present petitioners are identically placed with petitioners in the aforesaid judgment passed in CWP-9237-2023.

On being asked, learned Senior counsel for the respondent submits that matter with respect to regularization of employees is coming up for consideration before Board on 27.12.2023. The matter would be considered in the light of aforesaid order passed by this Court.

He assures the Court that apart from writ petitioners, matter of all the similarly situated employees would be considered. The Board would take policy decision instead of deciding fate of few employees.

In the wake of statements of both sides, the present petition stands disposed of in terms of judgment passed in CWP-9237-2023 titled as Gopal Singh and others Vs. The Bhakra Beas Management Board and others decided on 15.11.2023.”

Learned Senior Counsel for the respondents submits that present petition may be disposed of in the light of aforesaid order.

In the wake of statement of learned Senior Counsel for the respondents, the present petition stands disposed of in terms of order dated 11.12.2023 passed in CWP No.27626 of 2023.
