Judgment
N.A. Britto, J.—Heard Shri Teles, the learned Counsel on behalf of the applicants and Ms. Coutinho, the learned Public Prosecutor on behalf of the respondent. Upon instructions from the Investigating Officer, who is present in the Court, the learned Public Prosecutor states that the Investigating Agency has no objection in case the applicants are admitted to bail.
The applicants who are husband and wife were arrested on 8th and 9th April, 2008 respectively in connection with Crime No. 31/08 u/s 307, read with 34 I.P.C. and since then they have been in the custody. Their applications for bail were earlier rejected, essentially on the ground that the investigations were at the initial stage. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, both the applicants are, hereby, admitted to bail. They shall be released upon execution of bonds of Rs. 10,000/-each with one surety of like mount to the satisfaction of the learned Asst. Sessions Judge-III, Panaji and with a further condition that the applicants will not, directly or indirectly interfere with the investigations of the case. Applications disposed of. Authenticated copy of this order be issued to the applicants.
