Petitioners, fifteen in number and serving in Animal Husbandry Department in District Mandi, have filed this common petition, seeking directions to the respondents to grant them pay scale and other allowances from the date of their initial appointments with all incidental benefits. The petitioners have claimed that they were appointed on daily waged basis during the years 1998-2000. Their such appointments were pursuant to the selection undertaken by a duly constituted committee. Their projected grievance is that the respondents committed illegality in appointing them on daily waged basis instead of regular basis.
The claim for granting them regular pay scale and other allowances right from the dates of appointment on daily wage basis, has been made by the petitioners for the first time by instituting this petition in the year 2017.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition. Permission granted. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
