Judgment
Tarlok Singh Chauhan, J
The. instant. petition. has. been. filed. for. grant. Of following substantive relief:
“It is, therefore, most humbly and respectfully prayed that this petition may kindly be allowed and the respondents may kindly be directed to give
minimum further sum of Rs. 4 lacs to the petitioner on account of the untimely demise of his wife in the interest of justice.â€
In the reply filed by the respondents,. it has specifically been stated that as per notification issued by the State Government regarding compensation
for the loss caused to animals and human beings by the wild animals, in case of death of a human being, a sum of Rs. 1 lac was admissible as
compensation.
Admittedly, such amount has already been awarded to the petitioner on account of death of his wife, as is evident from Annexures RÂ11 and RÂ‐
111 filed along with reply. Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in the instant petition.
4 In view of aforesaid observations, the petition is disposed of, so also the pending application(s), if any. However, we make it clear that in case the
petitioner has still any grievance(s), he may approach the competent authority/court of law for redressal of the same in accordance with law.
