Notice. Mr. Balram Sharma, learned Deputy Solicitor General of India, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that interest of justice would be served, in case, the Committee that stands constituted in terms of Annexure P-15 dated 18.11.2024, is directed to re-look the entire case of the promotion of the petitioner against the post of Assistant Registrar at the earliest.
Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner time and again has come to the Court for the redressal of his grievance and as a Committee in terms of Annexure P-15 has been constituted as far back as on 18.11.2024, the respondents are directed to ensure that appropriate decision is taken on the promotion case of the petitioner by the Committee within a period of three weeks from today.
It is clarified that non-compliance of the order passed by the Court shall be construed to be willful disobedience of the directions passed by this Court by the Registrar of the respondent-University. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any also stand disposed of accordingly.
