Judgment
Rakesh Kumar Garg, J.—Petitioners who have allegedly married are seeking directions to respondent Nos. 2 and 3, to protect their life and liberty, at the hands of respondent Nos. 4 and 5, who are opposing their marriage. Without expressing any opinion on the averments made, the petitioners are directed to be present before the Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana, for redressal of their grievances as mentioned in ''Annexure P-5 '' and shall hand over a copy of this petition to him. In case, they approach the Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana, he shall verify the genuineness of the documents attached with the petition and shall look into their complaint/grievance, in accordance with law.
However, it is made clear that this order does not in any manner be construed as an expression with regard to the matrimonial status of the parties and this order will not restrain the Police Officers for taking action against the petitioners, if the documents attached with this petition are found to be false. Disposed of.
