The petitioner, who is apprehending arrest for attempt to murder, had come up before this Court for anticipator bail.
Vide order dated 31st August 2021, this Court had granted interim protection to the petitioner on the condition that he shall join investigation and shall remain present in the police station on 02.09.2021 in terms of paragraph 15 of order dated 31.08.2021. Learned Additional Advocate General submits on instructions received from the police station that the petitioner is presently in the concerned police station.
The State has filed status report and perusal of the same reveals that the accused is noticed in CCT Camera footage. He further argues that the victim is in serious condition and is fighting for life.
Given above, there is no merit in the present petition and the same is dismissed accordingly. Interim protection granted to the petitioner vide order dated 31.08.2021 is withdrawn with immediate effect.
