The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of orders dated 10.07.1989, 05.07.1990, 07.07.1994 & 03.11.2000 and further seeking direction to respondent to promote him as Head Constable (HC) from the date his juniors were promoted.
The petitioner was enlisted as Constable Messenger on 26.10.1973. He was recruited in Telecommunication Wing of Haryana Police. By impugned orders, his claim for promotion as HC was denied.
The petitioner joined service in 1973, thus, in all probabilities, he has retired on attaining the age of superannuation.
There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. It appears that with the efflux of time, petitioner has lost his interest to pursue the matter.
DISMISSED with liberty to the petitioner to move an appropriate application within six months from today, if cause survives.
Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
