Prayer in the present writ petition is for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction, particularly a writ in the nature of Certiorari, quashing Clause 10(i) and (ii) of the Note appended to Advertisement No.18 dated 08.08.2025 (Annexure P-1), Instruction/Condition No.22 contained in the Admit Card (Annexure P-3), Condition/Instruction No.2 contained in the Question Booklet (Annexure P-4), and Condition/Instruction No.6 contained in the OMR Sheet (Annexure P-5), insofar as the impugned conditions/instructions provide for cancellation of the candidature of candidates on account of inadvertent human errors, without taking into consideration the nature and circumstances in which such errors may occur, the same being contrary to the settled principles of law, as reiterated by this Court in its judgment dated 20.01.2025 passed in CWP No.30581 of 2024, titled Renu Sharma and others versus Haryana Public Service Commission (Annexure P-10); and further for quashing the result dated 24.07.2026 (Annexure P-7), to the extent that the roll number of the petitioner has not been included therein; and/or for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing respondent No.3 to consider the darkened bubble bearing the digit “1”, instead of the crossed/darkened bubble bearing the digit “8” below the digit “1” in the Roll Number column of the OMR Sheet of the petitioner (Annexure P-5), bearing Roll No.31864, and thereafter to evaluate the petitioner’s OMR Sheet and declare/show the marks obtained by him in the result/announcement dated 24.07.2026 (Annexure P-8) in respect of the Screening Test held on 05.07.2026; further, to disclose the marks obtained by the last candidate in the petitioner’s category who has been called for appearing in the Subject Knowledge Test/Written Examination and, in case, upon validation of the petitioner’s candidature and/or OMR Sheet, the petitioner is found to have secured marks higher than those obtained by the last candidate selected/called in his category, to permit the petitioner to participate in the second stage of the selection process, i.e. the Subject Knowledge Test/Written Examination for the post of Assistant District Attorney, and to include his roll number in the result dated 24.07.2026 (Annexure P-7); and/or for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing respondent No.3 to permit the petitioner to provisionally appear in the Subject Knowledge Test/Written Examination scheduled to be held on 09.08.2026 for the post of Assistant District Attorney pursuant to Advertisement No.18/2025, during the pendency of the present writ petition; and/or for issuance of a direction to respondent No.3 to keep one post of Assistant District Attorney in the category of the petitioner vacant/reserved, subject to the final outcome of the present writ petition.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner(s) prays for withdrawal of the present petition.
