Judgment

Let the original record be requisitioned.
Heard on I.A.No.8378/2020 which is an application for suspension of sentence of the applicant.
The applicant has been convicted for offence under Section 498(A) of the IPC and sentenced for 3 months RI with fine of Rs.500/- with default
stipulation.
Having regard to the short sentence which is awarded by the Court below and also considering the fact that the applicant is in custody since the date
of judgement of the appellate Court and he was on bail during trial and has not misused the liberty of bail and service of notice to the other side is
likely to take time, prayer for suspension of sentence is allowed and it is directed that on deposit of fine amount, if not already deposited and on
furnishing bail bond to the tune of Rs.25,000/- with one separate surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court for his appearance
before the Registry of this Court on 11/01/2021 and on subsequent dates as may be fixed by the Registry, the applicant be released on bail and the
substantive sentence shall remain suspended pending this revision.
IA No.8378/2020 stands disposed of.
