Sanjay Karol, J.—From the affidavit filed by the Chief Engineer-cum-Project Director State Road Project HPRIDC, Shimla, it is now evidently clear that proceedings against respondents No. 6 to 10 have now been initiated under the provisions of the Himachal Pradesh Road Infrastructure Protection Act, 2002 and the Rules framed thereunder. Thus the petition can be disposed of with a direction to the appropriate/competent authority to conclude such proceedings, in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of hearing to all concerned, including the present petitioner, within a period of six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order by the petitioner. With regard to the petitioner''s claim for higher compensation/allotment of government land in lieu of his land acquired by the government, it is always open for him to approach the competent/appropriate authority in accordance with the provisions of The Land Acquisition Act, 1894. Needless to add, since the petitioner had been pursuing remedy before this court, limitation shall not come in his way in pursuing such remedy.

With the aforesaid observations, present petition stands disposed of, so also the pending application(s), if any.
