Antony Dominic, J.—According to the Petitioner, she owns 70 cents and 71= cents of property in Re. Sy. Nos. 20/2 and 15/7 of Vazhoor Village respectively. In this writ petition, what she complains is regarding the refusal of the 1st Respondent to accept land tax on the ground that a civil suit is pending with an order of attachment. According to the Petitioner, the pendency of civil suit with an attachment in force is no reason for declining to accept tax in respect of the property.

2.

Irrespective of the contentions raised, it is seen that Ext.P1 application made by the Petitioner requesting the 1st Respondent to accept tax is not even responded to.

3.

Therefore, I dispose of this writ petition directing the 1st Respondent to consider the request of the Petitioner as contained in Ext.P1 in the light of the averments in the writ petition and pass orders thereon. This shall be done at any rate within 2 weeks of production of a copy of this judgment along with a copy of this writ petition.
