Judgment
Vinod K. Sharma, J.—The Petitioner has invoked the extraordinary jurisdiction of this Court, praying for issuance of a writ, in the nature
Mandamus, directing the 3rd Respondent to promote the Petitioner as ''Senior Lecturer and Selection Grade Lecturer'' on the appropriate date,
and fixed the salary, and to pay the arrears, etc.
The learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that during the pendency of the writ petition, the Petitioner stands promoted and the partial benefits
as claimed have also been released.
It is further stated by the learned Counsel for the Petitioner that for the remaining benefits, he has submitted a representation with the University,
and would therefore be satisfied, if the University directed to dispose of the said representation of the Petitioner, by passing speaking order. The
prayer is not opposed by the University.
Consequently, the writ petition is disposed of, by directing the Respondent No. 3 to dispose of the representation filed by the Petitioner with
regard to release of the balance benefits said to be due to the Petitioner, in pursuance to order of promotion, in accordance with the law.
The University is directed to pass a detail speaking order. The order be passed within a period three months of the date of receipt of the
certified copy of this order. No. costs.
