P. Sathasivam, J.—On direction, learned Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

The above writ appeal is directed against the order of the learned single Judge dated 24.04.2006 made in Writ Petition No. 2 of 2006.

On going through the relief prayed for in the writ petition, proceedings of the District Collector dated 23.11.2000 and the order of the learned

Judge, we are of the view that absolutely there is no ground for entertaining the above appeal. In fact the learned Judge in para 4 of his order

directed the District Collector, Chennai to enquire into the matter as per the representation of the petitioner/ appellant dated 20.01.2003 and pass

appropriate orders in accordance with law. Though the learned Counsel for the appellant claims that the order of the District Collector, Chennai

dated 23.11.2000 is in favour of the appellant, in spite of the same, the Officers working under the first respondent are not implementing the same,

we are of the view that it is for the petitioner / appellant to highlight the same before the District Collector, Chennai, if the same order subsists as on

date. It is further made clear that the petitioner/appellant is free to move the District Collector, Chennai by way of further representation, if need

arise.

With the above observation, this appeal is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected MP. is also dismissed.
