M. Jaichandran, J.—Heard Mr. V. Singan, the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner, as well as Mr. K.M. Vijaya Kumar,

the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the Respondents.

At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if

the Petitioner is permitted to make a representation to the second Respondent, with regard to the reliefs sought for by the Petitioner in the present

writ petition and if the second Respondent is directed to dispose of the representation, within a specified period.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the Respondents has no objection for such an order being passed by this

Court.

In view of the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of this petition and in view of the submissions made by the learned Counsel

appearing on behalf of the Petitioner, the Petitioner is permitted to make a representation to the second Respondent, with regard to the reliefs

sought for in the present writ petition, within a period of four weeks from today and on such representation being made, the second Respondent is

directed to consider and dispose of the Petitioner''s representation, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four months thereafter.

The Petitioner is directed to submit a copy of the representation, to the second Respondent, along with a copy of this order. However, it is made

clear that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.

The writ petition stands disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
