1.

Though I have heard the parties, represented by their learned Senior Counsel and the learned Government Pleader respectivley, it would not be now necessary to dictate a long judgment.

2.

Sri.Kurian George Kannanthanam, learned Senior Counsel instructed by Sri.P.M.Saneer – learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that his client has already obtained the approval of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine, through Ext.P5; and thus, being eligible to be included in the list of colleges to participate in the counselling process for the BAMS Course. He pointed out that, Ext.P7 would show that the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) has also recommended this.

3.

Sri.P.G.Pramod – learned Government Pleader, responded saying that, if this Court is so inclined, the petitioner’s college can be included in the list; and the time for submitting options by the students can be extended till 2.P.M. tomorrow, for the second phase of the allottment.

Since the petitioner accepts the afore suggestions, I dispose of this writ petition with the following directions:

a) The 2nd respondent will immediately take steps to include the petitioner’s college for participating in the counselling process hereinafter and notify the same as per law today itself.

b) Consequent to the above, the time for students, to make their options under the second allottment phase, shall be extended until 2 P.M. on 06.12.2022.
