Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that present case is squarely covered by judgment of Hon’ble Division Bench passed in LPA No. 165 of 2021 titled as State of H.P. vs. Suraj Mani and others alongwith connected matters. He further submits that petitioner would be satisfied, in case, direction is issued to the respondents to consider his claim for regularization/conferring work charge status in light of the aforesaid judgment and decide the same in a time bound manner.

Learned Deputy Advocate General submits that respondents will examine and decide the case of the petitioner and in case, it is found to be squarely covered with the aforesaid judgment of Surajmani’s case, then benefits in terms of the judgment shall be extended to the petitioner in a time bound manner as directed by the Court.

In view of the above, learned counsel for respondents is directed to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner in light of the aforesaid judgment passed in LPA No.165 of 2021. In case, petitioner is found entitled for the benefit in terms of said judgment, then further consequential benefits shall also be extended to the petitioner by respondents No. 1 and 2 within six weeks from today.

The petition is disposed of, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
