Prem Raj & Others vs State Of H.P. & Another

The petition is filed seeking the following substantive relief:

“i.) That the writ in the nature of the mandamus may kindly be issued to the respondent department to extent the benefits of pay @ minimum of revised pay scale as per annexure P-6 to the petitioners for contract period as JBT in the respondent department along with all consequential benefits including arrears of pay and interests for the contract period of of the petitioners as JBT in the respondent department.”

Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the case of the petitioners is covered by the judgment of the Division Bench of this Court dated 13th December, 2012, in LPA No.105 of 2010 alongwith companion matters. He further states that the petitioners would be content if their representation dated 16th November, 2022 (Annexure P-7) is decided.

In the circumstances, we dispose of the writ petition by directing respondent No.2-Director, Elementary Education to decide the representation of the petitioners expeditiously and in any event within a period of three months from today.

The pending application(s), if any, also to stand disposed of.
