Judgment
Harun-Ul-Rashid, J.—The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited is the revision petitioner. The revision is directed against the order dated 2.1.2006 in O.P (EA) 489/2009 on the file of the Court of Additional District Judge Alappuzha . The Court below granted an additional compensation of Rs. 12,525/- for the trees cut and removed
No amount was granted towards compensation for diminution in land value. The Court below by fixing the land value at the minimum rate of Rs. 5,000/- per Cent and percentage of diminution at 30%, granted an amount of Rs. 15,000/- towards compensation for diminution of land value for 10 Cents of land. I am satisfied that the compensation awarded by the court below for the trees cut and removed and for diminution in land value are reasonable and just. I also find that the court below rightly held so, on the basis of oral and documentary evidence and therefore there is no reason to interfere with the order passed by he court below. Accordingly this Civil revision Petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.
