In terms of the order dated 03.12.2018, when the matter was taken up today, Mr. Suresh, learned ASG produced a copy of the letter dated 08.01.2019 which reads a follows:

It is to inform you that this unit has approached higher headquarters for sanctioning of Rs. 95,000/- (Rupees ninety five thousand only) in order to deposit the same in favour of District Collector (LA)/Kangpokpi district for examinations of the SIA (Social Impact Assessment) report by Expert Group which was formed under Sec 7 (1) of the RECTLARR Act, 2013.
It is prudent to mention here that at present all kind of payment pertaining to public funds are being remitted to consignee through online system called PFMS (Public Financial Management System).
Hence, you are requested to forward following details at the earliest -
(a) Acct No.
(b) Name of Bank
(c) Name of account holder
(d) IFSC code of the bank
(e) Name of District and its PIN.

Thereafter, Ms. Babita, learned counsel appearing for Revenue Department produced two communications dated 15.01.2018 and 16.01.2019. Pursuant to these documents, it is evident that steps have been taken by the Assam Riffles to deposit the money with the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Kangpokpi who in turn will ensure payment of the compensation to the persons who are entitled for the compensation.
Accordingly, Deputy Commissioner, Kangpokpi is directed to ensure that the order of this Court is complied with on or before 13.02.2019.
Copy of these three proceedings mentioned above have been furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner.
If for any reason, the compliance cannot be reported on 13.02.2019, Ms. Babita is given liberty to mention for extension of time.
Copy to be furnished to Mr. A Rommel, Mr. Suresh, ASG and Ms. Babita.
