Pooja Chandani and Another vs JNVU and Others

Vijay Bishnoi, J.—The petitioners have filed this writ petition, while seeking directions to the respondents to conduct the examinations of B.Com (Hons.) Accounting 4th Semester at the earliest and declare the result of the same. It is also prayed by the petitioners that the respondents may be directed to provide admission to the petitioners in L.L.B. First Year in the academic session 2013-2014. During the course of arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioners has admitted that examinations for B.Com. (Hons) are scheduled to be conducted on 04.10.2013 and, therefore, in such a situation, direction for holding the above examination at an early date cannot be issued.

So far second prayer of the petitioners for giving admission to them in LL.B. First Year in the academic session 2013-2014 is concerned, the same cannot be granted looking to the fact that the petitioners have not obtained the graduation degree in any of the stream, which is minimum requirement for getting the admission in the LL.B. Course run by the Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur. Hence, there is no force in this writ petition and the same is, hereby, dismissed.
