T.R. Ramachandran Nair, J.—The petitioners have retired from the service of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation on 31.03.2010 while working as Drivers at Perumbavoor unit. The main grievance raised in the writ petition is that the petitioners have not been released the retiral benefits like DCRG, commuted value of pension and leave surrender salary.

Herein, the petitioners are seeking for a direction to disburse the leave surrender salary by encashing the FPL in their credit at the time of their retirement according to clause XXIV of the Pay Revision Agreement dated 13.04.1999. It is pointed out in paragraph 3 of the writ petition that the petitioners are having 67 FPL and 97 FPL respectively in their credit at the time of their retirement.

Heard the learned Standing Counsel for the KSRTC. There will be a direction to the respondents to conduct due enquiry and disburse the benefit towards leave surrender salary within a period of two months.

This writ petition is disposed of as above.
