This Criminal Miscellaneous Application has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 to set aside the order dated 10.01.2022, passed by the In-charge District and Sessions Judge, Nainital in Criminal Revision No.5 of 2022, “Amandeep Singh Saluja Vs. State and Another”, whereby, the said court has directed to register the said Criminal Revision. The said Criminal Revision was filed against the order dated 11.10.2021, passed by the trial court, whereby, the trial court has directed to frame the charges against the respondent no.2-accused for the offence under Sections 377, 498A of IPC and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

Heard Mr. Sanpreet Singh Azmani, the learned counsel for the applicant, Ms. Shivangi Gangwar, learned Brief Holder for the State and Mr. Shariq Khurshid, learned counsel holding brief of Mr. Gaurav Singh, learned counsel for the respondent no.2.

During the arguments, Mr. Sanpreet Singh Azmani, learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the present matter may be disposed of with the direction to the Revisional Court to decide the said revision within a period of fifteen days.

The learned counsel for the State and the learned counsel for the respondent no.2 have no objection.

This is an innocuous prayer.

Having heard the learned counsel for the parties and in the facts and circumstances of the case, the Revisional Court is directed to decide the said Criminal Revision No.5 of 2022, “Amandeep Singh Saluja Vs. State and Another”, within a period of fifteen days’ from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.

The Criminal Miscellaneous Application No.233 of 2022, filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, is disposed of accordingly.
